Michael “Mike” Greg Fisher

Michael “Mike” Greg Fisher, 76, Hemlock, passed away at 9:04 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2025, at his home. He was born February 20, 1948, to the late Harrell W. and Martha Burnell (Downing) Fisher.

Mike worked for the City of Tipton as a mechanic in the city garage. He retired after 12 years of service. He enjoyed sprint car racing, watching his grandchildren’s sporting events, Billiards, and working on cars in general.

Mike is survived by his children, Kim (Jay) Stone, Terry Fisher, Michael Fisher, Greg (Cheryl) Abbott, Rhonda White, and Shelly (Chip) Moore; siblings, Sharon N. VanDorn, and Linda L. Davis; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brothers Ronald E. Fisher and Donald L. Fisher, and life-long companion, Deanna White.

A funeral service will take place at 11a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Dave Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the funeral home.
