Imogene Craig

Imogene Craig, 96, affectionately referred to as "Nan," passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, in Tipton, Indiana. Imogene was born on May 7, 1928, in Scopus, Missouri, to Columbus Palmer Bridges (July 1894 - March 1946) and Lillie Mae Drum Bridges (Oct 1899 - Aug 1930). Imogene was the youngest of five children. Her sisters include Wilma Ferrel (June 1915 - Feb 1987), Glenda Stevens (Sept 1918 - May 1988), and Mildred Hopkins (Feb 1920 - May 2020), as well her brother James Clyde Bridges (Aug 1925 - Sept 2015).

Imogene married Paul Edward Craig "Pa" on Dec 13, 1946, in Missouri. After 72 years of marriage Paul passed away on April 24, 2018.

Paul and Imogene were the loving parents of Barbara Jean Craig Coffman (Oct 18,1947-Sept 20,1997) and her husband Lawrence Harold Coffman (Aug 18, 1941-May 14, 2003) From this union Paul and Imogene became the grandparents to eight grandchildren, James and Carrie Coffman of Crawfordsville, Glenn Coffman of State Line City, Indiana, Andrew Coffman of Norfolk, Virginia, Belinda and Jimmy Smith of Attica, Paul and Djene Coffman of Williamsport, Daniel and Brandi Coffman of Rainsville, Indiana, Mary and David Williams of Williamsport and Leah Coffman Waling of Hedrick, Indiana. Paul and Imogene also shared 24 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Imogene was a graduate of Woodland High School in Marble Hill, Missouri. She resided in Tipton since 1994 and was a member of Kemp United Methodist Church. Imogene enjoyed cooking, sewing, and was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.

A funeral for Imogene will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home led by her grandson, Paul Coffman. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. Online condolences for Imogene’s family may be left on her obituary page at www.young-nichols.com.

Wanda Lorane (Cardwell) Dudding

Wanda Lorane (Cardwell) Dudding, 75, of Tipton, died peacefully at her home alongside her loving family. She was born in Prairie Township, Tipton County, at the family homestead on December 18, 1948, to John C. and Harriett E. (Jeffers) Cardwell. On August 22, 1969, she married her sweetheart Robert “Glenn” Dudding, spending over 50 years in marriage.

Wanda poured herself into her family – wife, mother, grandmother – she took care of whoever needed her. She enjoyed gardening and canning her produce. Wanda had an eye for nature, flowers, birds, and all things shabby chic. She was also a member of the Normanda Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband Glenn, children Matthew Dudding and wife Adria of Arizona, Leah Chaykowski and husband Tim of Arizona, Ami Hojara and significant other David Ault of Indiana, and Rebekah Harrington and husband Neill of Indiana. Her grandchildren include Matthew, Jacob, Ayden, Collin, Jonathon, Gabriel, Jedrik, Zygmund, and Halina. Surviving siblings are Glenn Cardwell (Marty), John Cardwell (Nancy), Karen Way, Norma Alderfer (Larry), Carmen Fellows, and sister-in-law Sharon Cardwell. Wanda was preceded in death by her brother Bruce and brothers-in-law Bill Way and Gerry Fellows.
