Teresa Ann Keller

Teresa Ann Keller, age 73, passed away on October 19, 2024, in Kokomo, Indiana. Teresa was preceded in death by her father John T. Irvin, mother Mary Lou Harter, and sister and brother-in-law, Mariann (Irvin) and Sam Swearingen.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard P. (Dick) Keller, and daughters Megan (Dave) Corcoran, Gretchen (Jason) Young, and Heather (Adrian) Hart. Sister Martha Jo (Tom) Smuts and brother Robert Irvin. Grandchildren: Savannah Young, Lily Hart, Liam Corcoran, Delilah Hart, and Audrey Corcoran.

She retired from the Purdue Extension Howard County Office after 20 years, during which time she made significant contributions to the community. As a 10-year 4-H member herself, she loved being involved with 4-H for so many years with her daughters that even her grandchildren got involved. She also loved being involved with the master gardener program over the years and was very active in the butterfly garden, leaving a lasting impact on the local environment.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there, offering abundant support, wisdom, and love. A friend to many, she leaves a legacy of kindness and strength.

Teresa was a woman of faith and the heart of her family. She shaped their spirituality by living a Christian life. Even during her battle with cancer, her faith never wavered. She did not boast as she reflected on the spirit of Jesus as her north star.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. Teresa's love for her three daughters and grandchildren was boundless. She always made sure they felt her warmth and affection, and they brought immense joy and happiness to her life. She was a woman of many passions, enjoying walking, knitting, gardening, and crossword puzzles, each activity reflecting her vibrant spirit.

The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, located at 705 E. Southway Blvd, Kokomo, IN. A luncheon will follow the service at the same location.

Fran Tonnette Sutton

Fran Tonnette Sutton, 78, of Walton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 1:04 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born May 8, 1946, in Walton, Indiana, to Richard and Doris (Umbarger) Snyder. Fran married James E. Sutton on December 22, 1962, in Walton, Indiana. James preceded her in death October 4, 2020.

Fran retired from Elco Industries in Logansport as a multislide operator with over 29 years’ service. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She truly enjoyed every minute spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving family include her two daughters, Tina Price of Walton and Doris Dancy and husband Tom of Rochester. Her grandchildren include Tim Sutton and wife Kaylu of Logansport; Nora Sutton and husband Jaleel of West Lafayette; Samira Sutton of Logansport; Monica Hipsher of Logansport; and Nolan Wilkinson and wife Anna of Walton. Surviving great grandchildren include, Alicia, Lacey, Taye and Tamia Sutton; Jory Al-Turki; Clayton, Colton and Chandler Cripe; and Alexis, Ameira Hipsher and Andrew Barrett. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James, brother, Richard and sister Connie.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Palmer officiating. Fran will be laid to rest next to her husband James in Ever Rest Memorial Park in Logansport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.



Keegan Ryan Alexander

It is with profound sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Keegan Ryan Alexander. Keegan was a beacon of creativity and love, whose generosity knew no bounds. Born in Kokomo, IN, he carried the spirited heart of his hometown throughout his life and left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known him.

Keegan passed away peacefully in Patriot, IN. Keegans memory will live on through his loving mother, Corrie (Heather) Alexander and stepfather Paul Bishop; his loving father, Ryan (Tabitha Wright) Alexander; and his adored loving sister, Chloe Alexander and step siblings Ashlyn Bishop, Kaitlyn McLay, Madison Hendrix, Ashley Wright, Jaxon Wright, and his loving Mamaw, Twyla Butzin, and special Mamaw Sally Stillwell. Keegan's memory will also be treasured by his uncle, Kirby (Stephanie) Butzin; his cousins, Lanee, Lynzey, and Logan (Baker) Butzin; his Aunt Babette Armstrong and cousins, Shelly Martin, Steven Martin, Daniel Walker, Sara Cannon, and Phillip Cannon; his Aunt Heather (Jason) Ford and cousins, Haley Johnson, Hunter Anthony, and Hayden Anthony; and his grandfather, Tom Alexander. Keegan's best friend, Camden Scott, will miss the irreplaceable bond they shared. He was predeceased by his beloved Granny, Dale Markley.

A proud graduate of Taylor High School, Keegan continued his education at Ball State College and later completed the Pet Smart pet grooming program. His passion for loving life to the fullest was only surpassed by his love for the animals he cared for. Keegan worked at Pet Smart for three years, where his talents and kindness made him a favorite among both the pets and their owners.

Keegan's zest for life was evident in all his pursuits. He was a gifted self-taught musician, whose melodies could both uplift and soothe the soul. His love for animals was profound, and he shared his life with two guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, and a milk snake. His artistic talents shone brightly, especially when it came to special effects makeup. His creations during Halloween, his favorite holiday, were nothing short of awe inspiring.

Being an integral part of the Guard Team at Taylor High School was one of Keegan's most cherished activities. Allowing him to participate in one of his favorite activities that he forever loved and cherished the most. He then taught himself and perfected quilting, crocheting and handmade his own Christmas gifts to everyone that will be cherished forever.

Keegan's spirit was deeply connected to the natural and spiritual worlds. He found solace and strength in collecting crystals, believing in their powers, and was an avid follower of astrology and his horoscope. His spirituality was a guiding force in his life, he believed in his crystals’ healing powers, leading him to live with intention and an open heart.

His generosity extended far beyond his immediate circle. His smile alone would light up a whole room and lift the spirits of everyone around, him touching the lives of many with his kindness and willingness to give of himself. Keegan was the embodiment of love in action, and his legacy of caring and creativity, his everlasting impression will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

To say Keegan was a loving and creative soul would be an understatement; he was a generous spirit who saw the best in everyone and everything unless you stink. His life was a tapestry of warmth, passion, and art, a tapestry woven with threads of joy and kindness that will continue to inspire those left behind.

Keegan's love for amusement parks and haunted houses paralleled his approach to life—embracing adventure, laughter, and the thrill of the moment. His big heart and vibrant spirit will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of experiencing his unique light that will never dimmish.

As we honor and remember Keegan Ryan Alexander, we celebrate a life lived with boundless love, creativity, generosity, and smiles. His journey onward is as beautiful and enriching as the legacy he leaves in our hearts.
