Claudine Nicole Banush

Claudine Nicole Banush, 80, of Kokomo, IN, passed away April 28, 2024. She was born on December 4,1943, in Chartres, France, the daughter of Fernand Benoit and Adeline M. Roiz (Roiz).

Claudine was a very caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to play cards and bowl. She won the city bowling tournament team event in 2008. Claudine retired from Delphi after 25 years of service.

Surviving relatives include four sons, Rick Banush (Sheila) of Rochester, IN; Michael Banush (Angie) of Kokomo, IN; Ronald Banush of Kokomo, IN and Donald Banush (Trudy) of Kokomo, IN; four grandchildren, Bradley Banush (Ellie); Kaitlin Banush; Nathan Banush; Brian Banush (Amanda); four great-grandchildren; three brothers and five sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.

Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Funeral services 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024. Robert Joseph “Bob” Leicht

Robert Joseph “Bob” Leicht, 79, Kokomo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in his home at 10:10 p.m. on Monday April 29, 2024. He was born October 18, 1944, in Seymour, IN, the son of the late Robert & Bernice (Massey) Leicht. On June 28, 1969, at Four Square Church in Kokomo, he married Linda Gail Witt who survives.

Bob was a graduate of Northwestern High School. He retired from Chrysler Corp after 30 years of service as a pipefitter. Bob enjoyed hot rods, classic cars and going to car shows. He also loved collecting baseball cards and going to baseball card shows. Bob cherished the time he spent with his family, especially granddaughters.

Along with his wife Linda, Bob is also survived by his children, Robert “Bobby” (Nana) Leicht and Leah Leicht; granddaughters, Sara “Tori” (Johann) Zimbron and Amelia (Skyler) Leicht; great-granddaughter, Raisa Zimbron; siblings, Roger (Patty) Addison, Edward (Joyce) Addison, Linda (Erney) Ray, Linda (Michael) Boldrey and Marilyn (Joe) Boyd.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Tucker J. Leicht; great-granddaughter, Lentejillo Zimbron; siblings, Susie Bohmer, Sondra Sedberry, William Leicht and Wayne Thomas Addison.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Rev. Keith Mosier officiating. Burial will follow in Kempton Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service on Saturday at the funeral home. Treyshon Derrick-Lamont Banks Jr.

Treyshon Derrick-Lamont Banks Jr., age 1, of Kokomo, Indiana went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2024. He was born August 28, 2022, to Tamia Moore and Treyshon Banks, Sr. in Kokomo, Indiana. He was a beautiful, bright, happy little "bad" boy. Even though he was born with chronic health issues, he never showed pain and was a joy everyday. He made the cutest faces that made you smile to see. His life may have been short, but his memory will live on in our thoughts, always.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Tamia; father, Treyshon, Sr.; sisters, Camariya & Camiyah; grandfather, Dean; and grandmother Sonya; as well as a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Treyshon, Jr. was preceded in death by his twin brother and his grandmother, Johanna.

There will be a time of visitation on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo, with a home-going service at noon.

Steven Michael McCombs

Steven Michael McCombs, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2024, in his hometown of Kokomo, Indiana. Born on November 9, 1959, Steven's life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and selflessness.

Steven's journey began in Kokomo, where he was born and raised, and where he would eventually build his own legacy. On February 10, he married the love of his life, Mary (Corn) McCombs, who survives him. Together, they shared a family filled with laughter and love. He is survived by his loving children Jessica and husband Nathaniel Seagrave, Cody McCombs, Steven and wife Donal (Groover) McCombs, Cheyenne McCombs, and Brandon McCombs and his fiance Sha’Rae Webb. Steven's joy multiplied with the arrival of his grandchildren Hailey, Brady, Brooke, Nicholas "Nick," Jadelyn "Jade," Jayden, Tylor, Braelynn, Kaitlin, Jordan, Audrey, Isabella "Bella," Madelyn "Maddie," Aaliyah, Armani, A’Reyvion "Tru", Sa’Reya, Reyshon "JuJu", Amir, Sa’Miya, Kaydence, Kayden, and Ke’Shawn, and he was overjoyed to become a great-grandfather to Luca.

Steven's family circle extended beyond blood relations, as he was a pillar in his community, often referred to as the neighborhood dad and grandpa. His heart and home were open to many, including his special Aunt Janet Quirk, his sister Patty Beals, sister-in-law Deborah Tyler, nephew Joshua and Kelly Taylor, nieces Allison Beals, Stacey and Robert Newton, Misty Tyler, LeaAnn and Josh (Cisney) Tyler, Andrew and Gwendolyn Tyler, close cousins Wendy Cole, Brittany and Zeth Lewis, Sara and Brendan Lewis, special great niece Iris Lewis and cousins who all held a special place in his life. He shared a close bond with the "Dunlap clan" and had a profound impact on his adopted children and grandchildren, including Brandy Tyler, Bailey, Aryan, Sophie Osborn, Tessa Bennett, Samantha Myers, Ariel, Aria, Yosohn, Yakari, Sarah (Tajiana) Hathcock, Lucas, and Cody Young.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents Beverly (James) and Earl McCombs, his grandparents, his sister Lorelei "Lori" (McCombs) Morris, brother-in-law Robert Tyler Jr., daughter Destiny Pittman, and grandson Terrance Pittman Fish, along with several beloved aunts and uncles.

An attendee of Haworth and Taylor High School, Steven was known for his strong work ethic. He spent several years as a beer truck delivery driver for Miller Beverage and later for Rodney Collins at Central Transport. His dedication to his work was matched only by his dedication to his family and friends.

Steven's interests were as big as his heart. He was an adventurous soul who loved traveling to Tennessee, Las Vegas, and Florida. His grandchildren fondly remember him as an ornery Papaw, teaching them to be just as mischievous as he was. His playful spirit earned him a variety of nicknames from his grandchildren, including Papaw Yeehaw, Papaw Poopy head, Papaw Hee-haw, Papaw Jackass, and, upon becoming a great-grandfather, Papaw "The Great" Jackass.

Those who knew Steven will remember him as a man who was loving, funny, and selfless. He had the unique ability to fill a room with laughter and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created with his family and friends.

Steven's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of joy, kindness, and an unending love for his family. As we say goodbye to Steven Michael McCombs, we celebrate a life well-lived and a man who was truly great in every sense of the word. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.
