Frederick "Fred" Eugene Marks
Frederick "Fred" Eugene Marks, age 83, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11:37 AM at his residence. He was born on September 3, 1940, in Rochester, Indiana to the late Russell and Leota (Albitz) Marks. Fred married Janice (Wilhide) Marks on December 18, 1966 in Etna Green, Indiana, and she survives.
Fred served his country for 30 years in the United States Army, Army Reserves, United States Navy, and eventually retiring from the Navy Reserves. Fred retired from Chrysler after 33 years of employment. He was a member of the UAW 685. Fred was also a long-time member of Bible Baptist Church. He had a passion for motor sports and avid fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, turning wrenches. Fred was a huge supporter of his boys BMX racing. He was known as the "Cool Dad" to the neighborhood kids.
Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Janice; two sons, Rick (Tracy) Marks and Chad (Kelly) Marks; grandchildren, Morgan (Matt) Greene, Devon (Kensey) Marks, Ethan (Kenzie) Marks, and Rylund Marks; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Janice Jane (Stahl), Joe Stahl, and Greg Stahl; several nieces and nephews; and his canine companion, Dudley.
Preceded in death are his parents, Russell and Leota; and his stepfather, Joe Stahl.
There will be a time of visitation for Fred on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo. Pastor Keith Treadway will be officiating. Entombment will follow to Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery with full military rites performed by the United States Army and VFW Post 1152 Military Rites Team.
Lindan Jerome “L.J.” Hill
Lindan Jerome “L.J.” Hill, 47, died unexpectedly at his home in Bremen, Alabama. Cause of death was due to underlying heart conditions. He is son of Lindan B. and Constance H. Hill, who survive. L.J. is survived also by a sister, Michelle Mayle (Dayton), a brother, Robert Ira (Marnie), a son, Lindan Ray Hill, and a daughter, Sadie Hope Hill.
Lindan was a 1995 graduate of Eastern High School, Greentown, Indiana. He graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas, with a bachelor’s degree with Distinction in Anthropology, in 1999. L.J. was a member of the SMU Swimming and Diving Team, where he earned major varsity letters all four years. In 2004, Lindan graduated from Wake Forest School of Law with the degree of Juris Doctor.
Lindan worked as an attorney in Birmingham, Alabama, for the next 20 years, being recognized multiple times as Outstanding Young Attorney. He represented hundreds of clients in construction related litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, prison reform, and civil and estate planning. He was dedicated and committed to the highest professional practice of law.
Other survivors include uncles and aunts. Bill and Phyllis Shupp, Ed and Sherry Farthing, Full Colonel Claude Matchette, U.S. Army (Ret), Lucinda Coulter, Heather White, and Gretchen Hill. Surviving also are many cousins.
His children, Lindan Ray and Sadie Hope, were the most important people in his life. Together, they played football, baseball, volleyball, basketball, gourmet cooking, and board games.
L.J. was a friend and colleague to many. Over the years, as an athlete and attorney, he developed life-long friendships with people all over the United States, from California to the New England states, and all points in between. His kindness and compassion will be missed by all. Lindan’s razor-sharp wit and quick humor will be missed by a few and not understand by many.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 East Main Street, Greentown, Indiana, followed immediately by a brief service. Pamela Jean Wolfgram
Pamela Jean Wolfgram, 79, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024. She was born December 6, 1944, in Appleton, Wisconsin to Leonard and Elyane Kielgas.
Pam graduated in 1963 from Green Bay West High School where she met the love of her life, Doug Wolfgram. Together they raised 3 sons; Christopher, Craig, and Kent. She attended Oshkosh State College and Madison Business School. Pam was the manager of Dress Barn in Kokomo for a number of years and then went on to be a paraprofessional for Kokomo High School until her retirement in 2004. After she and Doug retired, they enjoyed traveling together. Hawaii was their favorite destination, they traveled there 7 times before moving on to other places. Mexico was their next vacation spot and then Florida. When she was back home in Kokomo, Pam loved to spend time outside gardening.
Pam is survived by her husband of 59 years Doug Wolfgram; sons, Christopher Wolfgram (Doreen), Craig Wolfgram (Jennifer), and Kent Wolfgram (Bethany); grandchildren, Jasmine Wolfgram and Jackson Wolfgram. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

Izola Beatrice Tinder, age 77, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
