Duane H. Davis
Duane H. Davis, age 87, of Kokomo, Indiana passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023. He was born on May 2, 1936 in Wayne, OH to the late Herbert Allen and Helen Irene (Riley) Davis. He married Joyce Carol (Risser) Davis in December 31,1956 in Fostoria, OH, and she survives.
Duane served his country in the United States Marine Corp. from 1954 until 1957, as a rifle instructor. He was a member of NRA and the Indiana State Rifle Team. He was also a rifle instructor for the Boys Club and inspired many young men. Duane was an avid motorcyclist and a chapter president of GWRRA. His hobbies included RC sail boating and woodworking.
Surviving is his loving wife of 67 years, Joyce; three daughters, Carol (Tony) Hicks, Crissie (Dan) Cook, and Christy Coyle Davis; son, Edward (Dian) Davis; brother, Gary (Cynthia) Davis; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death is his parents; and brother, Don Davis.

Delma “Mac” McCammon
Delma “Mac” McCammon, 86, of Sharpsville, passed away at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born October 21, 1934, in Grenada, Mississippi, to William and Martha (Winters) McCammon. On January 8, 1955, he married Geneva Miller, in Indianapolis, and she preceded him in death on May 3, 2006.
After earning his GED, Mac went on to earn an associate degree in business management. He worked 40 of his 60 years as a car salesman at Dan Young GM in Tipton. When he wasn’t working, Mac enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Mills; brothers, Vernon (Judy) McCammon and Rex (Carolyn) McCammon; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Geneva McCammon, he was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings.
In keeping with his wishes, no public services will be held. Burial of his ashes will take place in Sharpsville Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com.
