Kimberly “Kim” Renee (Bowlin) Wilson
Kimberly “Kim” Renee (Bowlin) Wilson, 64 years old, of Kokomo, passed away at 11:13 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent in Kokomo. She was born in Logansport, IN, on September 14, 1960, the daughter of the late Albert James and Barbara (Butcher) Bowlin. On June 27, 1981, she married Brian Wilson, and he survives.
Friends are invited to celebrate Kim’s life with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home – Jefferson Street Chapel, 414 W. Jefferson St., Kokomo, IN 46901. Contributions may be made in Kim’s memory to the Kokomo Humane Society.
David Wesley Long
David Wesley Long, 70, of Tipton, passed away at home on Monday, February 17, 2025. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on September 23, 1954, to Glen Randall & Wanda Jean (Goodman) Long. David married Darlena Davis on August 28, 1981, and they enjoyed 37 years together before her passing on October 6, 2018.
David worked as a butcher at Needler’s and before that Marsh in Tipton. Prior to that he worked at RPI, also in Tipton. David left high school early to join the U.S. Navy. He served from 1972-1975.
He loved outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and camping, as well as playing video games. David was a family man who greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by: his two children, Demetre Long and girlfriend Dawn Seal of Tipton, and Jeanne Long of Elwood; four siblings, Robert Long of Tipton, Ron Long and wife Debbie of Kokomo, Judy Long and husband A.P. of Indiana, and Sue Long and husband John of the Bahamas; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Glenn Long.
David’s funeral will be at noon on Friday, February 21, at Young-Nichols Funeral Home. The service will be led by a close family friend, John McShane. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Tipton, with military honors provided by the Tipton American Legion and the U.S. Navy. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Ricardo "Rico" Marsh
Ricardo "Rico" Marsh, age 73, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. Rico was born in Kokomo, Indiana, to Henry L. and Viola L. Marsh on September 2, 1951. Ricky was employed by Delco/GM, retiring with more than 30 years of service. Upon retiring in 2006, you could catch Ricky riding around town on his bicycle. He was the family patriarch and historian, fluent in several languages. He loved photography and cooking, just to name a few of his interests in life. He had an adventurous travel side to him, and traveled the world to places, such as Canada, Brazil, and the Philippines, just to name a few. No matter how far his travels took him, Ricky was never out of touch with his kids and family. He returned home to Kokomo in 2016 where he enjoyed life with his family. He was all about preserving our history and connecting the dots of our lineage.
He leaves behind: four daughters Kito Moore, Brooke Wiley, Janae Bellamy, and LaToya Rebba-Gillard; grandchildren Kenneth (Whitney) Moore, Ahmea, Anaysia and Amire Warwick, Barrett Wiley, Oakland Bellamy, Yuri Moore, and Raylen Elliot; great-granddaughter Ka'Miyah Warwick; sister Tracie L. Marsh; brother Kirk L. Marsh; nieces Rayneasha Marsh (Douglas Smith), Alyssa Brown (Demario), Kirshana Marsh, and Ishea Brooks; great-nephews Tyler Swygert and Jaylen Marsh; great-nieces Jewell and Jayde Swygert; and great-great-niece Alora Swygert.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Moore, Jaylen Marsh, Matthew Bennett, Julian Bennett, Barrett Wiley, and William Howard.
A time of visitation for Ricardo will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, with a funeral service at 1:30 PM, followed immediately by entombment.
Shawnric Ryan Lewis
Shawnric Ryan Lewis, 39, of Sheridan, died Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born in Tipton, Indiana, on May 30, 1985, to Richart Drake Lewis and Vivian Lynn (Fecher).
Shawnric was a 2003 graduate of Sheridan High School. He greatly enjoyed reading and writing. He was known to often write letters to his family and friends, expressing himself in words. Shawnric was also a music buff; he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing many songs.
Survivors include his mother and father Vivian and Richard Walters of Sheridan, a daughter Kharma Reighn in Sheridan, and siblings James Byron Dean Lewis, Glen Michael Leland Lewis, Danielle Kay-Lynn Johns, Gabriel Bryant Walters and Ariel Lorraine Walters.
A celebration of Shawnric’s life will be held on Saturday, February 22, at 1:00 P.M. at Lifepointe Community Church, 3233 W. 166th Street in Westfield, with Pastor Woody Cumbie presiding. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday at the church.

Charles Robert “Bob” LaFollette
Charles Robert “Bob” LaFollette, 82, of Noblesville, was received in Heaven on Monday, February 10, 2025, in Noblesville. He was born on March 17, 1942, in Lincoln, Illinois, the son of the late Ivan J. and Mary E. (Tucker) LaFollette.
Bob graduated from Frankfort High School in 1959. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University-Kokomo in liberal studies in 1983. Bob retired from Delco/Delphi Electronics after more than 41 years of service working as a tool & die/mold maker. He previously worked for First National Bank in Kokomo and delivered agricultural and farm fuels for Standard Oil. Bob was strongly committed to his Christian faith and served in multiple leadership roles within the church. He always reminded those whom he touched that “God takes care of His people!” He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed performance cars, and was a Corvette enthusiast. Bob dedicated years of service umpiring local Little League, Babe Ruth, and high school baseball games and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. He was a notorious “birthday aficionado” to and for family and friends alike. Bob adored spending time with all of his family, but especially all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to play tennis and was a member of the Carmel Racquet Club, where he had yet another “family” of friends.
Bob is survived by: his children Mike (Kim) LaFollette, Robin (Rob) McGreevy, David LaFollette, Tammy (Dean) Montel, and Loann (Mike) Burke; grandchildren Austin LaFollette, Kiersten (Colburn) Lambert, Cammie (Ben) Lawton, Zac (Mikayla) McGreevy, Sarabeth LaFollette, Andrew (Jessica) Vendl, Hunter Montel, Bryce Montel, Kaley Montel, Sean (Jenn) Burke, Tyler (Hailey) Burke, Evan (Devin) Burke, and Jenna Burke; great-grandchildren Maveryk Lambert, Kolt Lambert, Hunter Lambert, Theo Vendl, Riley Burke, Parker Burke, Grant Burke, and Collin Burke; sister Kathy (Bill) Schmidt; brothers Paul (Diane) LaFollette and John LaFollette; and foreign exchange student Mia Kuntsi.
Along with his parents Ivan J. and Mary E. LaFollette, Bob was preceded in death by his sister Karen Colbert.
A funeral service celebrating Bob’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, Indiana, with Pastor Greg Reed officiating. Burial will follow at the Galveston Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Indiana University Kokomo.
