Robert "Bob" Joseph Pressey

Robert "Bob" Joseph Pressey, 84, of Russiaville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was born November 19, 1940, in Bicknell, Indiana, to the late James and Edna Pressey.

Bob met the love of his life Lillie in 1972, and they were married a year later. If you ever needed to find Bob, you just had to look outside. He spent a majority of his time in his pole barn making bird houses and woodworking while listening to classic country music. He was fond of camping and hanging out on the water, fishing. He kept his yard looking pristine as mowing was a beloved hobby of his. For years, he owned his own pipefitting business. He retired from Delphi where he formed many friendships. Above all, Bob devoted his life to his family, especially his grandchildren Summer Rogers, Corey Cottrell, and Destiny White.

Bob is survived by: his loving wife of 51 years, Lillie Pressey; children Michael Pressey, Renee Wade, Charles Harris, and Dave Harris; and siblings Mildred Pearson and Harry Pressey. He also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his brother Sonny Pressey and his brother-in-law Ancil Rhodes.

A visitation for Bob will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
