Teresa Renee Sheagley
Teresa Renee Sheagley, 57, of Kokomo, passed away 11:13 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2025, at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born in Kokomo, IN, on July 10, 1967, the daughter of the late Fred and Carolyn (Hooker) Sheagley.
Teresa was a graduate of Haworth High School. She formerly worked at Meijer as a cashier and associate. Teresa had a stubborn, straight-shooter, and strong-willed demeanor. She was a caring mother, sister, and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren, and she appreciated being with her family. Her favorite hobby was collecting ceramic angels.
She is survived by: her children Micheal Sheagley, Matias (Laura) Sheagley, and Madianna Sheagley; siblings Tamara Sheagley and Terry Sheagley; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Carolyn Sheagley.

Esther Marie McMath
Esther Marie McMath, 83, passed away at her home in Tipton, Indiana, on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was born in Clinton, Indiana, on September 23, 1941, to Barney and Vera (Shannon) Giacoletti,
Esther grew up in Clinton where she was a graduate of Clinton High School. After graduating from Indiana State College, she taught school in the Tipton Community School System until her retirement. On March 13, 1993, she married Robert William "Bob" McMath, and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2020.
Esther is survived by her brother Edward Giacoletti and wife Linda, stepsons Thomas McMath and wife Diane, William "Bill” Ragan and wife Sheri, Ray Ragan and wife Kimberly, and stepdaughter Evelyn Cosentino. Also surviving are brother-in-law Carroll McMath and wife Sally, sisters-in-law Janet Barnett and husband Don, Linda McMath, Joyce Byers, and Kathy Lashbrook and husband Harold, and several nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her mother and father, sister Marilyn Cinotto, and stepdaughter Katherine Molina.
It was Esther’s desire to not have any funeral service. She will be cremated and buried next to Bob in Fairview Cemetery. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Steven M. Cage Sr.
Steven M. Cage Sr., age 68, of Kokomo, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Community Howard Regional. Steve was born on November 11, 1956, in Tipton, Indiana, to his parents Harold Leroy Cage Jr. and Marilyn Ann (Holloway) Cage.
Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army at Fort Hood, Texas, from 1976-1980 and reenlisted in the Army Reserves from 1980-1982. During his time in the military, he was awarded a medal for his skills as a Sharpshooter Specialist (Rifle). He was a member of the VFW Post 1152 in Kokomo.
Steve enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and rode with his buddies any chance he got. He loved tattoos and had many works of art that he proudly displayed on his body. He would never turn down a cup of coffee; it was a staple in his everyday routine. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed!
Steve was a simple man, and although he could be a little rough around the edges, he loved with all of his heart. He was known to be outspoken and often used colorful language, but you always knew where you stood with him; a trait many appreciate.
Those left to carry on Steve’s legacy of love are: his children Cheryl Emmert (Burke) and Steven Michael Cage Jr.; grandchildren Alison Davis (Tyler), Brook Brown (Martin), Gabriel Emmert, Sawyer Emmert, Shelby Cage, Michael Cage, Tabby Cage, Hannah Cage, Emily Griggs, Dylan Manton, Zoe Cage, and Makayla Cage; great grandchildren Carter, Monroe, Jr., Cash, Mayson, Aiden, and Braiden; siblings Cheryl Small (Mitch Sandy) and Greg Cage (Tammy); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Steve was welcomed into Heaven by his parents Harold & Marilyn Cage.

Larry L. Blackburn
Larry L. Blackburn, affectionately known to many as "Pops," passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, in Anderson, IN, at the age of 79. Born on June 13, 1945, in Tipton, IN, to the late Fern Burris Liston and Bernard Blackburn, Larry lived a life marked by creativity, service, and the love of his extensive family.
Larry's early years in Tipton were the foundation of a life lived with gusto and a spirit of adventure. Following in the footsteps of his parents, he developed a strong sense of duty, which led him to serve his country in the Army from 1964 until 1968. His service was characterized by the honor and integrity that would become the hallmarks of his life.
After his honorable discharge, Larry's journey through life was enriched by love and companionship. He married Christina McClain Blackburn on his birthday in 2013, and although she preceded him in death in 2015, their time together was filled with joy and mutual adoration. Larry's legacy is carried on by his loving family: daughters Amanda (Dave) Madley and Misty Giddens; stepdaughter Penny Harting Clay; sons AJ Blackburn, Larry Whisler, and William Whisler; brothers James "Jim" (Tonya) Blackburn and Randy Blackburn; sister Vicki Blackburn; and the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
Pops was a man of many interests and talents. His passion for etching glass revealed his artistic soul, and those who had the privilege of witnessing his craft were often left in awe. Larry's creativity was matched by his curiosity, which manifested in a collection that included flashlights, knives, and magnified glasses. He was also fascinated by dragons and had a deep appreciation for the beauty of crystals and minerals.
Among his many endearing qualities, Larry was known for his loving nature, his handy skills, and his adventurous spirit. He had a firm belief in the existence of aliens, which was a topic that could spark hours of lively conversation. His openness to the mysteries of the universe was just one example of how he embraced life's wonders with enthusiasm and an open heart.
Larry's presence was a gift to those who knew him. He was a source of wisdom, laughter, and comfort, and his absence will be deeply felt by all. Pops' life was a tapestry of experiences, relationships, and passions that touched many and left the world a more colorful place.
As we say farewell to Larry L. Blackburn, we celebrate the life of a man who was not only loving, handy, and adventurous but also a true artist, a dedicated patriot, and a beloved patriarch. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, just as the light from one of his cherished flashlights cuts through the darkness to show the way forward.
In honor of his remarkable life, family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears. Larry's story is one of a life well-lived, and he will be remembered with love and admiration by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. As we look up at the night sky, we may find comfort in the thought that Pops is now exploring the final frontier he so often pondered, on a new adventure that is just as extraordinary as he was.
