Brad Lee Miller
Brad Lee Miller, 51, Kokomo, passed away peacefully Friday, December 13, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 6, 1973, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Jerome Miller and Deborah Honeycutt.
Brad graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1991 and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 1994. Over the years, he built a diverse career, working for Stellantis for six years, Lowe’s for 10 years, and most recently dedicating the past two years to O’Reilly Distribution.
A man of many passions, Brad found joy in fishing, woodworking, bowling, and gardening. He was an avid collector of Hot Wheels and enjoyed his football fantasy league called King of the Hill that he was in charge of and an active member. His faith was an important part of his life as a member of Victory Church of God. Brad’s life was one filled with love for family, friends, and the simple joys that brought him happiness. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
Brad is lovingly remembered by his parents, Jerome (Julie) Miller and Deborah Honeycutt; his daughter, Katelyn (Jordan) Parham; his granddaughter, Blakely Parham; his siblings Chad (Jackie) Miller, Ryan Miller, and Chase Miller; his stepsiblings, Marysa Stephens, Erin (Ryan) Emerick, Macy Riley, Clay (Corenn) Kingsolver and Amanda (Anthony) Gordon; his grandmother, Anna Ruth Miller; nieces and nephews, Trenton Miller, Carly (Josh) Stephenson, Olivia Miller, Macy Miller, Ben Miller, Ava Miller, Braeleigh Powell, Charlee Kingsolver, Maverick Gordon, Marleigh Gordon, Mary Emerick, Riley Emerick, Cale Emerick, A.J. Stephens, Zila Powell, and Rosie Stephens.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara and Virgil Strouse and Walter and Ruth Ellen Miller; his stepfather, Jerry Honeycutt; and his uncle, Don Hicks.
A funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Robert Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in Marion National Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Air Force and the Kokomo Military Rites Team. Glenna Miskulin
Glenna Miskulin, 68, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 6:47 a.m., surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 6, 1956, in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Glenn Unrine and Vesta (Prickett) Unrine. Glenna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, being in the warm weather, and most of all spending time with all her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Miskulin, Kokomo; two daughters, Stefanie (Greg) Higginbottom, Arizona, Jessica Stanley, Kokomo; a granddaughter, Ava Stanley, Kokomo; three sisters, Penny Sommers, Wisconsin, Dawn Niblack, Las Vegas, Dana Dixon, California; six nieces, Kathy (Terry) Carpenter, Wisconsin, Jeri (Joel) O’Brien, Wisconsin, Patti Schmitt, Wisconsin, Rachel Sommers, Wisconsin, Kelly (John) Neumann, Wisconsin, Charlee Kniess, Wisconsin, and Dillon Moul, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by both her mother and father, Vesta (Prickett) Unrine and Glenn Unrine; one brother, Glenn Unrine; brother-in-law, John Sommers; and one sister, Kathy Arnold.
A private memorial service will be held in her home state of Wisconsin at a later date. Stout & Son Funeral Home – Russiaville Chapel has been entrusted with cremation.
Mary L. Hinkle
Mary L. Hinkle, 99, of Tipton, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at The Waters of Tipton. She was born in Cicero Township of Tipton County on February 14, 1925, to Gilbert F. & Mary M. (Snipes) Meeks. Mary married Robert V. Hinkle on November 14, 1945, and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1997.
She was the bookkeeper and co-owner with her husband on Hinkle TV Service in Tipton. Before that, she had worked for International Harvester in Chicago. She was a graduate of Tipton High School in the Class of 1942.
Mary was a member of the West Street Christian Church where she was an Elder and a member of Esther Circle. She had been an associate of Haines City Christian Church in Florida. She enjoyed visiting Dale Hollow and wintering in Winter Haven, Florida.
She is survived by three sons, Ted Hinkle of Racine, Wisconsin, Tim Hinkle of Byrdstown, Tennessee, and Dan Hinkle of Tipton, along with four grandchildren, Heather Bohen, Melissa Hinkle, Eric Hinkle and Shanika Palm; three nieces, and four great-nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; a son, Steve Hinkle and three brothers, Robert Meeks, Victor Meeks, and Richard Meeks and one niece.
