Elizabeth “Kay” Lasley
Elizabeth “Kay” Lasley, 75, of Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Community Howard Regional Health – Kokomo. She was born on September 25, 1949, in Tipton, the daughter of Earl and Flossie (Rush) Clinton. On June 7, 1969, in Kokomo, she married Jerry L. Lasley, and he survives.
Kay graduated from Kokomo High School in 1967. During her time in high school, she enjoyed being in choir, and singing in a Gospel Trio with her best friends Kathy Johnson, and Patty Williams. Kay worked at Delco Electronics until she became a mother. She enjoyed shopping, growing flowers, cleaning the house, and watching TLC. Kay loved her family very much and will be missed by many.
Along with her husband Jerry, Kay is survived by her children, Melissa (Jason) Goad, and Chris (Sara) Lasley; grandchildren, Chase Goad, Eli Lasley, and Gabrie Lasley; brother, Wayne (Brenda) Clinton; sister, Patty (Kevin) Carey, and Phylis (Doug) Rogers; sister-in-law, Karen Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Flossie Clinton; and brother, Al Clinton.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd. Kokomo, with Pastor Steve Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the funeral home. Gina Joyce Fewell
Gina Joyce Fewell, age 69, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo at 9:33 AM. She was born on January 17, 1955, in Fort Carson, Colorado, to the late Don Lucas and Mary (Hawk) Wolfe, who survives. Gina married Jerry Fewell, and he preceded her in death.
Gina graduated from Indiana University of Kokomo with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Gina was employed for Bona Vista as a Direct Support Professional for 30 years. Gina enjoyed decorating, cooking, baking, shopping, knitting, quilting, gardening, traveling, and making memories. She loved her family and her cats.
She is survived by her son, Chad Lucas; honorary sons, Jonathan and Trenton Haley; mother, Mary Wolfe; grandchildren, Johnathan Haley and Wesley Haley; along with the Fewell children and many other grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special cousin, Terri D'Amico; and cats, Timmy and Mia.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; and her beloved cat, Wally.
Services for Gina are still pending at this time due to allowing for more family/friends time to plan on attending her celebration of life.
