Vicki G. White

Vicki G. White, 70, of Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at her home. She was born on April 1, 1954, in Kokomo, the daughter of Vincent G. and Pauline M. (Bishop) Fisher. Vicki married Howard L. White on May 6, 1983, and he preceded her in death on April 27, 2024.

Vicki graduated from Kokomo High School in 1972. She owned and operated White’s Meat Market for 38 years with Howard. Vicki enjoyed watching cooking shows and Reba; she also enjoyed cooking, baking, and video games on her phone like Hay Day and Candy Crush.

Vicki is survived by her sons, William “Josh” (Sarah) White, and Zach (Mandy Clark) White; grandchildren, Emily White, Katelynn White, Peyton Kirby, and Matthew Atherton; siblings, Cynthia Ann (Ronnie) Irick, Julie Elizabeth (Larry) Burton, Vincent Chris Fisher; and seven nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband Howard, Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Pauline Fisher.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, with Pastor Jason Grant officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday, at the funeral home. Donald McMullan

Donald McMullan, aged 74, of Tipton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at his residence. He was born on August 28, 1949, to Donald William "Bill" and Ruth Anna McMullan. Donald married and shared a life with Sharon Keeler until her passing on April 18, 1995.

During his professional career, Donald dedicated 25 years to the Indiana Department of Transportation at the maintenance unit in Tipton. However, his true passion lay in farming; he found joy in contributing to his family farm in Tipton County. Additionally, Donald served honorably in the United States Air Force. In his later years, Donald found companionship with Gloria Judy Ennis until her passing in 2020.

He is survived by his nephew, Andrew McMullan of Fishers, and his sister-in-law, Susan McMullan of Fishers. Don was very close to Gloria Evans’ son, Travis Ennis. Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Charles McMullan.

A graveside service will take place at the Kempton Cemetery Thursday evening July 25, 2024, at 5:00 P.M. with Rev. Lissa Litka presiding. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the McMullan family during this difficult time.



Jason Philip Perry

Jason Philip Perry, 47 years old, of Kokomo, passed away 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at his home. He was born in Tipton, IN, on March 13, 1977, the son of John Edward and Cathy Renee (Moon) Perry. On August 3, 2020, he married Marisa (Hester), and she survives.

Jason attended Clinton Central High School and Kokomo High School. He was a cook at several restaurants around Kokomo like Ponderosa and Ruby Tuesday. He most recently worked at Subaru on the production line. Jason was passionate about music. He had a wide variety of bands and genres that he listened to like Slipknot, Kid Rock, the Beatles, Johnny Cash, and Pantera to name a few. Jason will be remembered for rocking out at any concert he attended. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. was his favorite driver. Jason cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Marisa, Jason is survived by his mother, Cathy Perry; children, Savanna Perry, Tyson Perry; stepchildren, Katie (Wes) Manis, Kadien Brumfiel; and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Perry, and grandparents Alice Rubush Moon and Keith Moon.

Funeral services for Jason are pending. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jason’s memory to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home to assist with final expenses. Marilyn Ruth Zimmerman

Marilyn Ruth Zimmerman, 92, of Muncie, IN, passed away July 18, 2024. She was born on May 13, 1932, in Kokomo, Indiana, the daughter of Lawrence Lloyde and Jessie Fern Witzel (Ozenbugh). She married Thomas Paul Zimmerman who preceded her in death.

Marilyn loved cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and playing cards. She also enjoyed watching cowboy shows and Wheel of Fortune. Marilyn will be missed by family.

Surviving relatives include her daughters, Stella Zimmerman of Kokomo, IN; Ruth Ann Zimmerman of Muncie, IN, and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.
