Thelma Rosalyn "Rosie" Rogers

Thelma Rosalyn "Rosie" Rogers, 92, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away June 27, 2024. She was born on November 30, 1931, in Peru, IN, the daughter of Charles V. and Gertrude R. Weaver (Oesterle). On December 1, 1950, she married Glenn M. Rogers at Highland Park Church in Kokomo, IN, who preceded her in death on March 6, 2006.

Rosie was a Brownie leader. She was also involved in Cub Scouts. Rosie enjoyed playing euchre with her friends and face painting at the fair. She was a member of the Independent Order of Foresters. Rosie loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving relatives include her three daughters, Yelanda (Mike) DuBois of Kokomo, IN; Jeanetta Reckell (Dale) Romack of Sharpsville, IN; Dawn Lynn Rogers of Kokomo, IN; grandchildren, Keith Rogers of Sharpsville, IN; Chad (Chris) Romack of Warsaw, IN; Erin Marr of Greentown, IN; great grandchildren, Brock Marr of Kokomo, IN; Chloe Romack of Warsaw, IN; Dalton Smith of Greentown, IN; great-great granddaughter, Emorie Marr of Kokomo, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Gertrude Arlean Weaver.

Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home. Funeral services 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery Kokomo, Indiana.
