The Howard County Health Department and Health First Howard County will offer fall immunization clinics for all students, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, and their families on Wed., Oct. 9, and Thu., Oct. 10, from 4-6 p.m. each day.

The Oct. 9 clinic will take place at Bon Air Middle School, 2796 N. Apperson Way, in the conference room. The Oct. 10 clinic will take place at Boulevard Elementary School, 1901 W. Boulevard, in the gym.

There will be no out-of-pocket cost to the recipients. Insurance will be billed. Children without insurance will receive vaccinations free of charge. Children will only receive the vaccines consented to be the parent or custodian of the child.

Immunization records will be checked in the state registry prior to the clinic, and nurses will discuss what vaccines are recommended. All vaccines, including infant and toddler shots, will be available at the clinics. Walk-ins may experience a longer wait time.
