Failed thief, unruly cart wrangler hit police department's most wanted list

On September 18, 2024, Kokomo Police were dispatched to Walmart, 1920 E. Markland, regarding an attempted theft. Store employees advised at approximately 10:30 a.m. a white female entered the store, who was described as being 25 to 30 years old, dark hair styled in a bun, wearing all pink in color clothing, and had a tattoo of a rose on the inside of her right forearm.
The female placed various merchandise valuing over $700 in a cart and proceeded past all points of purchase. Store employees attempted to stop the female outside the store where she abandoned the cart containing the merchandise and fled. The female was observed riding a silver and blue in color bicycle northbound from Walmart as she fled.
A photo obtained from store surveillance video is attached to this release. Assistance from the public is being requested to assist in identifying the female suspect.
This case remains under investigation. Unruly cart wrangler wanted
On Sept. 6, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers of the Kokomo Police Department were dispatched to Walmart, located at 1920 E. Markland Ave., in reference to a mischief.
Officers learned that on Sept. 5 at approximately 7:08 p.m., a white male with a possible black mustache, wearing a black hat and black clothing, shoved a shopping cart to the cart corral across the parking aisle. The shopping cart struck the victim’s vehicle causing damage to the vehicle. The suspect then left in a possible purple in color minivan.
At this time, the Kokomo Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance identifying the person of interest and/or the suspect vehicle in the attached photographs.
