I thank the Lord for His rest. Life can be overwhelming, filled with responsibilities that seem to pile up faster than we can handle. Between personal obligations and business demands, we often find ourselves gasping for air, searching for a moment of relief. Yet, in the midst of the chaos, the Lord steps in, making a way for us to experience His supernatural rest.
There are times when our schedules are packed from morning until night, leaving no room to pause or reflect. But then, almost mysteriously, things begin to shift. Appointments are canceled, deadlines are extended, or plans unexpectedly change. What seemed like disruptions are often divine interventions. In those moments, it may be difficult to see the Lord’s hand at work, but when we take a step back, we realize—He did this for me.
God knows when we need rest, even when we don’t. He sees the weight we carry and, in His mercy, He lightens our load. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” This is not just physical rest, but a deep, soul-refreshing rest that only He can provide.
Instead of feeling frustrated when plans change, we should recognize them as a gift from our Heavenly Father. Rather than pushing forward in our own strength, let’s pause and say, “Thank You, Lord. You made a way for me to rest.”
His rest is not a sign of weakness but of His love. He calls us to trust Him, to lay our burdens at His feet, and to embrace the peace that only He can give.
