This holiday season marks NIPSCO’s 12th annual Hope for the Holidays campaign, which combines donations from both the company and its employees to benefit various community-serving organizations across northern Indiana.
This year, the Howard County NIPSCO plant has selected the Kokomo Rescue Mission to receive a remarkable $12,000 donation. The Mission plans to use these funds to enhance and update its two women’s shelters, Watered Garden and Open Arms.
“We are deeply grateful for this generous gift,” said Anna Brown, Director of Women’s Ministries at the Kokomo Rescue Mission. “NIPSCO’s contribution will enable us to not only complete several essential projects that have been on hold due to funding challenges but also support the ongoing operations and services that are critical to our mission. These funds will allow us to maintain safe, welcoming facilities while continuing to serve those in need, helping us further our impact in the community.”
The Hope for the Holidays campaign has become a cherished tradition at NIPSCO, with employees enthusiastically participating year after year. This commitment underscores NIPSCO’s dedication to creating a positive impact in the communities it serves.
