On Nov. 12, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m., a victim reported that someone stole a mower from his property located in the 2900 block of North Locke Street. A person of interest and a vehicle of interest were captured on home surveillance camera.

Symphony rocking by candlelight
The Kokomo Symphony will present “Rocking Kokomo by Candlelight,” a fundraising event, on Fri., Nov. 22, at the Hobson, 110 N. Washington St. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with charcuterie boards and a cash bar. The KSO Quintet will perform a variety of rock music surrounded by candlelight in the beautiful Hobson venue.
Be inspired and come enjoy this multi-sensory performance in downtown Kokomo. The symphony also will hold a live auction of some amazing items. This promises to be a night of beautiful music, great atmosphere, and yummy small bites.

Ivy Tech to offer ESL in Logansport
Ivy Tech Community College is offering an eight-week instructor-led training course designed to increase the English language proficiency of people whose native language is not English.
The course, English as a Second Language, will be offered three times in 2025, from Jan. 13 to March 7; from March 17 to May 9; and from June 9 to Aug. 1, at the Ivy Tech Logansport campus at 1 Ivy Tech Drive.
The focus of this class is to increase the student’s proficiency of the English language in reading, writing, listening and speaking. The classes will meet twice a week in three-hour sessions with day and evening opportunities available (9 a.m. to noon and 6 to 9 p.m.).
