On Sept. 8, 2024, Kokomo Police received reports of vehicles being broken into in the Cedar Crest neighborhood with items reported stolen.  

Kokomo Police obtained home surveillance video depicting three individuals walking around, approaching parked cars in residential driveways and parked on the street, attempting to enter vehicles. Their presence in the area may be linked to the recent break-ins.

The department stated that safety and security of the community are of utmost importance, and asked for citizens’ cooperation, which can make a significant difference.
