Amara Faith Jewell

Amara Faith Jewell, a vibrant and loving soul, passed away on November 20, 2024, in Kokomo, IN, at the tender age of 13. Born on June 14, 2011, in Lafayette, IN, to her devoted mother, Sarah Jewell, Amara's life was a testament to the joy and passion she brought into the world.

Amara's early years were filled with the warmth of her family's love. She grew up alongside her siblings, Jeremia, Jonathan, Nathanial, Aaliyah, and Leland, who found in her not just a sister but a true friend. Her grandmother, Zonda Bryant, and her papa, Mike Birge, along with several extended family members, will forever cherish the memories of Amara's bright spirit.

Education was an integral part of Amara's life, and she embraced the modern world by attending the Indiana Digital Learning School online. Her enthusiasm for learning and connecting with her peers was evident in her dedication to her studies and the friendships she cultivated.

Amara's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. A true "Swifty," she adored Taylor Swift and could often be found singing along to her favorite songs with a joy that was infectious. Her competitive spirit shone brightly when she played Fortnite, and she relished the thrill of the game. An avid reader, Amara found solace and adventure in the pages of books, and she was never without her phone, staying in touch with her friends and sharing moments of her day.

Her evenings were sacred family time, which she spent watching television with her mother, creating a daily ritual that strengthened their bond and provided countless hours of comfort and laughter.

Amara was the embodiment of love, her generous heart touching everyone she met. Her spirited nature inspired those around her to embrace life with enthusiasm and courage. Her generosity knew no bounds, as she was always eager to share her joy and possessions with others.

As we bid farewell to Amara Faith Jewell, we celebrate the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her legacy of love and passion will continue to live on through the stories we share and the memories we hold dear. Though her time with us was far too short, the brightness of her spirit will never fade.

Amara's family will carry her memory forward, honoring her life by embodying the qualities she exemplified: love, spirit, and generosity. She will be deeply missed, but the light of her presence will forever illuminate the lives of those who loved her.
