Harold J. Wilson, age 78, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.
A public visitation for Harold will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Crematory Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Following the public visitation will be a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
Kathy Lynn Tragesser
Kathy Lynn Tragesser, 55, of Kokomo, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Community Hospital East – Indianapolis. She was born on October 26, 1969, in Kokomo, the daughter of William R. and Starla M. (Rust) Gaither.
Kathy graduated from Kokomo High School in 1988. She went to Ivy Tech then to Indiana State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Kathy worked as a Correctional Officer for Youth Corrections. She previously worked at Kinsey Youth Center, the Howard County Jail, and Cox Communications. Kathy worked many years creating the I Care Stick Pin and got it patented.
Kathy is survived by her children, Ashley Tragesser, and Ryan Tragesser; sisters, Emily (Kevin Clason) Shrock, Patty (Robert) Thiemrodt; niece, Samantha (Josh) Myers; nephew, Cory Shrock; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Starla M. Gaither.
In keeping with Kathy’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions can be made in Kathy’s name to Jackson Street Commons. Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation.
