Colette Rose Inderhees
Colette Rose Inderhees, 83, (formerly of Kokomo, Indiana), passed away on August 13, 2024, at Park Meadows Senior Living, Overland Park, KS. She was born on March 30, 1941, to Louis and Helen (Kreimer) Fuller at Cincinnati, OH. Colette enjoyed a career as an artist, best known for her ceramic and China paintings. On June 3, 1961, she married Robert Edward Inderhees, and they made their home in Kokomo, Indiana.
She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, and she enjoyed teaching China painting classes and was a significant contributor to the Kokomo Art Association.
Colette is survived by her loving sons, Gregg (Diana) Inderhees, Michael (Lisa) Inderhees, and Thomas (Kelly) Inderhees, grandchildren Rebecca (Alex) Fischler, Rachel Inderhees, Ryan (Brooke) and Tyler (Megan) Vogelsong, Joshua and Alexandrea Inderhees, Haley (Kevin) Dudzinski, Kacie, Andrew, and Christopher Inderhees and great grandkids Nolan Walter and Lily Colette Dudzinski, Riley Vogelsong and Laney Vogelsong, brothers and sisters Virgene Hertsenberg, Jim Fuller, and Tom Fuller.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, her sister, Rita Ann Guthier, and son Joseph L. Inderhees.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon Tuesday, Sept 3, 2024, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. 200 West., Kokomo, IN with Rev. Fr. Kyle Neterer the celebrant. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The Rosary will be offered at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Mary Katherine Lowe
Mary Katherine Lowe, aged 80, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at IU North Hospital in Carmel. She was born on February 29, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, to Carl and Lucille (Kinser) Gross.
Mary grew up in Dayton, where she graduated from Colonel White High School. After completing her secondary education, she began her collegiate studies at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Penn., then later graduating from the University of Dayton. Mary held a position in administration at the University of Dayton and also worked as a real estate investor. After her professional career, she moved to Tipton County and then later to Noblesville.
A woman of deep spiritual faith, Mary was an active member of the Holy Spirit Parish at Geist. In addition to her professional endeavors, she was a published author and had a strong interest in architecture, genealogy, and interior design. Mary was also committed to holistic health practices and enjoyed outdoor activities such as golfing, hiking, biking, and playing tennis.
She is survived by her two children, David Lowe and wife Audry of Tipton County, Benjamin Lowe and wife Manpreet of Fishers; sisters, Carla Steinbach and husband Dale of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Linda Perkins and husband Fred of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Bella Lowe, Akaash Lowe, and Vishal Lowe. Mary is also survived by the father of her children, Paul Lowe of Noblesville. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly Pummill.
Mary Katherine Lowe leaves behind a legacy enriched by her varied accomplishments and the lives she touched. Her family and friends will remember her for her warmth, intelligence, and unwavering spirit.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fishers, Indiana with Rev. Cole Dairy presiding. Later Tuesday there will be a visitation at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. A private family burial is planned for the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio.

Benita Carmen Hopkins
Benita Carmen Hopkins, age 92, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024.
A time of visitation for Benita will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center, 3400 S. Webster Street, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow with a committal service at Crown Point Cemetery, 1101 E. Sycamore St., Kokomo.
Vivian M. Mason
Vivian M. Mason, age 85, of Sharpsville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 2, 1938, in Andersonville, TN to the late Milton and Mary (Melton) Ailor. Vivian married Donald W. Mason on February 2, 1957, and he preceded her in death on June 1, 2014.
Vivian retired from General Motors after 30 years of employment. She was a member of the UAW #292. Vivian was a member of Kingdom Life Christian Ministries and formerly a longtime member of First Church of God. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, going to the beach, sitting on her porch watching the hummingbirds, and attending Sprint Car Racing with her son, Lee. Vivian was very family-oriented and was the matriarch of the family. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Vivian really enjoyed watching all her grandchildren at their sporting events.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Gabe) Eagle; daughter-in-law, Julie Mason; four grandchildren, Cynthia (Freddie) Reed, Brenda Simpson, Tiffany (Freddie) Douglas, and Bobby Eagle; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Richard (Phyllis) Ailor, Sue Wilson, Creola (Mike) Hundley, Beulah Brigance, Marie Ailor, Terri (Ray) Bass and Margie Matthew; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death is her loving husband, Donald W. Mason; two sons, Milton LeRoy Mason and William Daniel Mason; brother, Jerry Ailor; and three brothers-in-law, Larry Wilson, Bob Matthew, and Al Brigance.
There will be a time of visitation for Vivian on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Burial will follow to Albright Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Vivian's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
David “Dave” Gregory Jones
David “Dave” Gregory Jones, 74, of Kokomo, passed away 4:49 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. He was born in Logansport, IN, on February 3, 1950, the son of the late Edgar and Margaret (McQuiston) Jones.
Dave was a graduate of Lewis Cass High School. He was the former owner and operator of Joe Hunter Motor Sales in Logansport until his retirement. He was passionate about classic cars, attending car shows, and cruising around. Dave was an outgoing man with a funny and witty sense of humor. He enjoyed taking walks, being outdoors, and riding on his motorcycle.
Dave is survived by his daughters, Jessica (Brandon) Bonnell, Kelsey Jones; and granddaughter, Baci Bonnell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Margaret Jones.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled to celebrate Dave’s life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dave’s memory to Stout & Son Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Stout & Son Funeral Home – Russiaville Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
Thomas E. Shuck
Thomas E. Shuck passed away on July 13, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born November 13, 1964, and was 59 years old at the time of his death. Tom graduated from Tipton High School class of 1983 and later joined the U.S. Navy.
Two children survive, TJ Shuck (Dawn) of Kokomo, and Tera Shuck Clouser (Travis) of Kempton. One daughter, Tabitha, is deceased. Surviving also are his mother, Judy Shuck Phillipe, Franklin, IN and father, Don Shuck, Estero, Florida. Also surviving are a brother, Todd Shuck (Denise) of Franklin, IN, and two sisters, Tandy Shuck Waddick (Mike) of Greenwood and Talene Shuck Allen (Ron) of Milltown, Florida and as well as several grandchildren.
Private family services are being held, and Tom will be buried at St. John’s Cemetery in Tipton. Young-Nichols Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
