Billy G Bradley, age 90, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.
A time of visitation for Billy will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
David Allen Akers
David Allen Akers, 60, of Hemlock, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. He was born in Kokomo, IN, on June 20, 1963, the son of Donald E. and the late Odabelle June (Comer) Akers. On April 5, 2016, he married Susan Lynn Campbell, and she survives.
He was a 1982 graduate of Taylor High School. He graduated from ITT Tech in 1984 as an electrical technician. He went on to Ivy Tech and graduated in December 2020 where he earned a degree in Industrial Technology. David joined the National Society of Leadership and Success on April 30, 2019. He worked at Mueller Printing, Rockwell and was a bindery operator.
Along with his wife, Susan, David is survived by his daughters, Hannah June Marie Akers and Nikole Kay Akers; father, Donald E. Akers Sr.; brother, Donald E. (Kelly) Akers Jr; sisters, Donna Jean (Ken) Sibenac and Shirley Joan Bridges; stepchildren, Brandon Graham, Kate Suzanne McEntire, and Kyle Wayne Kingery; mother-in-law, Marsha Kay Campbell; grandchildren, Taylor Brooke Kingery, David Andrew McEntire Jr., and June Pearl McEntire; six nieces and nephews; and 17 great nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Odabelle June Akers, and father-in-law, Darrell Wayne Campbell.
