Elvis enters the building for evening of music, snacks and fun in downtown Kokomo
Silver Birch of Kokomo, an assisted living center in downtown Kokomo, invited the community to join its residents for a Valentine-themed Family Night on Jan. 29.
Residents and guests were treated to a special performance by Elvis Presley impersonator Jerry Armstrong, who sang some of the icon's legendary tunes, along with some lesser-known numbers for the die-hard Elvis fans.
Silver Birch also provided special snacks for those in attendance, thanks to the facility's Culinary Arts team.
The Family Night is just one of an ongoing series of events designed to welcome the larger community to engage in fellowship with the residents and to experience what Silver Birch has to offer.
