​Red Ribbon Christmas Boxes return

The Kokomo Rescue Mission is excited to announce the return of its annual Red Ribbon Christmas ministry, aimed at bringing the joy and hope of Christ to those in need this holiday season.

What are Red Ribbon Christmas Boxes? Red Ribbon Christmas Boxes are specially curated boxes filled with gifts for every member of the household, paper products, hygiene items, and a grocery gift card to help families and individuals celebrate Christmas.

Families and individuals who income-qualify must attend one of these application days to sign up for the program:

We encourage individuals and groups to get involved in the following ways:

1. Donation Drives: Organize a collection of items such as non-perishable food, personal hygiene products, and toys suitable for children of all ages.

2. Volunteering: Join us at our “Christmas Warehouse” to help wrap presents and distribute the Christmas boxes. Your time and effort will make a significant impact on the lives of families in need. Sign up at kokomorescuemission.org/volunteer

3. Monetary Contributions: Financial donations are also welcome and will go directly towards purchasing items for the Christmas boxes. Give online at kokomorescuemission.org/donate

This ministry not only provides essential items for families in need but also fosters a sense of community and support during what can be a challenging time for many. By participating, you are helping to create lasting memories and spreading the message that no one in our community should feel alone during the holidays.

The Kokomo Rescue Mission provides compassionate care and support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and hunger in our community. Through a variety of programs and services, we strive to empower those in need, offering the hope and compassion of Jesus Christ.
