KPD makes meth arrest on traffic stop

On November 8, 2023, at approximately 5 p.m., the Kokomo Police K-9 Division conducted a traffic stop in the area of 1240 West and 100 North. Upon approach, K-9 Officer Noah Moody detected an odor of marijuana emitting from within the stopped vehicle. It was determined that the driver, Bernard Brock, had never obtained a driver's license. Probable cause was established, and the vehicle was subsequently searched. Approximately 1 lbs. and 2 ounces of methamphetamine as well as a small amount of marijuana were located inside the vehicle.

The following individuals were arrested during the investigation:

Bernard Brock of Logansport, Indiana, was charged with the following offenses:

Dealing Methamphetamine over 28 grams, a level 2 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine over 28 grams, a level 3 Felony, and Possession of Marijuana with priors, an A Misdemeanor

Ty Williams of Logansport, Indiana, was arrested for Dealing Methamphetamine over 28 grams, a level 2 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine over 28 grams, a level 3 Felony, and Possession of Marijuana, a B-Misdemeanor.
